What's New in ImageAssist - July 2026: Two Capture Modes & Sharper Images
Invalid Date
ImageAssist 2.0.13 brings two new capture modes and a noticeable jump in image quality — with ImageAssist for Patients coming next.
Happy July. We've been busy — and this month's release includes two improvements our customers have been asking for.
ImageAssist Version 2.0.13 is available now. Download the update in the App Store to get started.
Now: two capture modes
We redesigned how capture works based on your feedback. When you start a new session, you'll now choose between two options:
- AI Session — guided capture with SmartGuides and AI background removal, same as you know it.
- Standard Session — guided capture without background removal, built for practices that already have a photo room and a background they love.
Same standardization either way. Now with the flexibility to match how your practice already works.
Higher image quality
Across both modes, we've improved image resolution and detail. Photos are now sharper and more detailed — and we're not done. Expect additional optimization across the iOS and web apps this week.
Coming next: ImageAssist for Patients
Our next major release this quarter is ImageAssist for Patients. It will let your patients send you standardized photos directly — opening up a new channel for communication and engagement between visits. Much more to come soon.
We want your feedback
We're building ImageAssist to fit your clinical workflow, and your input shapes what we build next. Have an idea or a request? We'd love to hear it — reach out anytime.
